Description:Enel Green Power (EGP)

Enel Green Power is the Enel Group company entirely dedicated to the development and management of energy generation from renewable sources at a global level, with a presence in Europe, the American continent and Africa.

With an energy generation capacity from water, sun wind and the Earth’s heat of more than 32 billion kWh in 2014 – meeting the needs of more than 11 million households and avoiding the emission of over 17 million tonnes of CO2.

EGP's average load factor (that is, the ratio between net annual production and the maximum production that can theoretically be obtained over one year, resulting from the nominal MW multiplied by 8,760 hours) is about 40 percent, higher than that of its competitors, due to the large share of geothermal and hydroelectric power.
