According to sources, a total of 10 bidders has responded to the request for proposals (RFP) launched by Jamaica’s Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) for 37 MW of renewable energy capacity.
Under the terms of the RFP, interested parties had to submit their proposals on or before January 27, 2016. The projects could include wind and solar plants, waste to energy facilities and other green energy projects.
