Madagascar seeks developers for hydroelectric projects

The Government of the Republic of Madagascar, through the Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons, has initiated a process to execute energy projects that maximize the technical potential of natural energy resources, particularly of renewable energy sources.

Within this framework, the World Bank has launched a call for Expressions of Interest from energy developers to develop hydropower projects. The list of potential projects add up around 550 MW.
