Quercus supports Italian PV plant

Quercus Assets Selection, through its subsidiary Lux Renewable Holdings SA, has supported the construction of a PV plant in Italia.

The 20 MW photovoltaic plant is located in the town of Celano (in the Abruzzo region), which was hit by an earthquake in 2009.

The plant will be producing 28,500 MWh per annum, powering on average 10,300 homes and saving 10,700 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. The plant has been granted a subsidised rate as per the second Conto Energia in accordance with the extension granted to support the regions hit by the earthquake.

Macchi di Cellere Gangemi advised on the aspects of administrative law, corporate and project contracts, with a team led by partner Alessia Marconi, assisted by partners Silvia Dell'Atti and Alessandro Sergio.

Legance advised in the aspects of financial law with partner Monica Colombera and LS Lexjus Sinactan advised on fiscal and financial aspects with the Chartered Accountant and partner Maurizio Di Marco Tullio.
