RWE progresses innogy-E.ON asset swap with EC filing

innogy to acquire 50 MW solar projects in Germany from Primus Group

RWE has announced that it has filed the acquisition of the renewables businesses of E.ON and innogy with the European Commission. The filing is the first step of a diverse merger control procedure, which is necessary due to the substantial asset swap between RWE and E.ON, announced in March 2018.
