TPCL seeks financial advisor for 2x250 MW coal based thermal power project

Trincomalee Power Company Limited (TPCL) has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) to hire a financial advisor for arranging funding for 2x250 MW Coal Based Thermal Power project in Sri Lanka.

TPCL is a joint venture company of Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Sri Lanka & NTPC Limited, India. The firm intends to hire a qualified agency to provide consultancy services as financial advisor for arranging funding for the thermal power project which will be located at Sampur, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.

TPCL intends to invite bids from eligible bidders for EPC (Turnkey) Package for coal fired 2 units each of 250 MW for the power project. Debt financing is planned to be arranged by the preferred bidder through Export Credit Agency (ECA) and/or Bank Financing.

Interested parties must submit their expressions of interest on or before 30 April 2015. The last date to receive detailed EOI documents is 20 April 2015.
