Wermuth Asset Management (WAM), founded in 1999 by Jochen Wermuth, is a German family office and BaFin regulated investment adviser on alternative and sustainable impact investments. Their investment teams are based in Berlin, Mainz, Amsterdam and Moscow.
The firm focuses on the following investment strategies: private equity with a focus on resource efficiency; real estate development; systematic long/short equity; and long - only activist value investing with a focus on the electric power sector.
WAM has overseen investments exceeding US$1 billion at peak. It is committed to impact investing, in particular to a profitable move towards a sustainable economic model and doing business in an ethical fashion.
