CFO Ingrid Bonde has decided to step down from her position at Vattenfall

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President Ingrid Bonde has decided to step down from her position at Vattenfall.

Ingrid Bonde joined Vattenfall in May 2012 as CFO and Executive Vice President after one year as a member of the Board of Directors. During these years, both Vattenfall and the industry as a whole have gone through a dramatic shift and Vattenfall has adjusted its strategic direction towards renewable energy sources.

Ingrid Bonde has a six months notice period and will remain in her role during this time. The search for a replacement for Ingrid will now be initiated.

Ingrid Bonde stated:

"After five fantastic years the time has come for me to move on. Many of the matters that I have been involved in are now coming to a close. It is time for me to reflect upon my future, and I hope and trust, that my next challenge will be as exciting as the one I’m leaving in six months time."

Vattenfall’s President and CEO Magnus Hall regrets Ingrid Bonde’s decision, but understands her wish to move on. He commented:

"I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Ingrid and thank her for all her valuable contributions during a very demanding period for both Vattenfall and the energy industry."
