DRC seeks consultants for pre-feasibility studies of 30 hydro projects
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has invited expressions of interest from consultants to perform pre-feasibility studies of 30 medium-sized hydropower sites in DRC, then perform feasibility studies of the three most promising sites.
The deadline for submission of responses is August 8th.
DRC is seeking consultants to identify the 30 most attractive hydropower sites from a list of 60 to 80 sites to be provided by the water resources and electricity ministry, Ministere des Ressources Hydrauliques et de l'Electricite.
In a second phase of the work, at the discretion of the ministry and depending on performance of the consultant, the consultant would perform feasibility studies of the three top sites including reconnaissance, technical studies, structuring of public-private partnerships, and economic and financial studies.
Expressions of interest and qualifications must be delivered in French.
