Gibraltar tenders LNG installation on PPP mode

The government of Gibraltar has launched a tender process to develop a liquid natural gas (LNG) installation through a public private partnership (PPP) project.

The new facilities will include a Liquefied natural gas installation for the storage and supply to the new Gibraltar Power Station and others.

The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance (DBFOM) basis.

Gibraltar is a British overseas territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean. It has an area of 6.0 km2.
