India launches a tender process for BOOT transmission project

The Goverment of India has launched a tender process to develop a new 400 kV GIS Substations in Gurgaon and Palwal area.

Specifically, PFC Consulting Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited (A Government of India Undertaking), the Bid Process Coordinator appointed by Ministry of Power, has launched a request for qualifications (RFQ)

The project, which is part of the inter-state transmission system (ISTS), will be developed on a build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) basis.

The last date for bidders to seek clarification is 30 October and the last date of submission of RFQ is 16 November 2015.
