juwi and Asia Green Capital create joint venture for Asia

Asia Green Capital Partners and juwi Renewable Energies have formally established Aurora Partners, a joint venture to develop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across South and South-East Asia.

The focus of the new joint venture company will be to identify and co-develop solar PV projects across key growth markets in the region such as Indonesia, India, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Aurora Partners will combine the technical, development and construction expertise of the juwi group with the project development strength and financial resources of Asia Green Capital.

Amiram Roth-Deblon, juwi's Asia-Pacific Regional Director, has commented:

"juwi is excited to partner with Asia Green Capital Partners in developing this solar platform across the region. India and South East Asia are one of the most exciting PV solar markets and long term potential is enormous.

juwi continues to bring global technology innovation to the region that accelerates the growth of solar energy in Asia-Pacific. With Aurora Partners we add additional project funding options and different business models for development partners."

Asia Green Capital Partners is a dedicated renewable energy project developer and investment firm with a development portfolio of over 350 MW in South East Asia.

The juwi group has been operating in the Asia-Pacific region since 2010 and has a strong presence in the region with over 400 MW of renewable energy projects completed or under construction across India, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and the Philippines.
