juwi appoint new CEOs for Middle East and Africa

juwi Renewable Energies FZCO has appointed Mr. Dirk Holzrichter and Mr. Ronald Saade, as new CEOs for the MEA (Middle East, Africa) region in order to accommodate the company’s upcoming growth. They follow Mr. Luca Sacchetto as Managing Directors. 

juwi Renewable Energies FZCO, the Dubai based subsidiary of the international project developer juwi and major player in the renewable energy sector of the region, has built up a strong project pipeline . Currently, the company is realizing a 23.1 Megawatt peak (MWp) solar project in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and is also busy finalizing a 5 MW wind and solar project in Bahrain.

Mr. Ronald Saade said:

“I am looking forward to working for juwi Renewable Energies FZCO and to realize solar and wind projects in the region as the Arabian Peninsula offers tremendous potential for renewable energies. He is assisted by a full support team in order to accommodate the company’s upcoming growth."

Towards that same end, the company has also developed strategic alliances with organizations such as KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) in Egypt, and Z-One Holding (UAE) for projects in the MEA region.

juwi Renewable Energies FZCO is also currently waiting for decisions on a number of advanced offers made, having built strong partnerships with several governments in the region.

By now the construction works at the company’s 23.1 Megawatt peak (MWp) solar project in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are in full swing. Constructions started in November 2015. The project is scheduled to be fully operational by mid-2016.

Via its sister company juwi International GmbH, juwi Renewable Energies FZCO is additionally managing an exceptional project in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Renewable Energy power plant that combines wind turbines and solar photovoltaics panels for 5MW (2MW wind + 3MW solar) of energy production should be finalized by October 2016. The project is located near Al Dur.
