KGAL acquires another WKN wind farm

At the close of 2014 the Husum project developer WKN AG, a company of PNE WIND group, has sold Siebenbäumen wind farm to the KGAL Group with its headquarters in Grünwald near Munich, Germany.

Siebenbäumen will extend wind farm Kastorf that had been sold to KGAL before and which has already been put into operation.

The Siebenbäumen extension located in Schleswig-Holstein consists of two wind turbines of the Vestas type V112 each with an installed capacity of 3.075 megawatts. The turbines are to be erected at a hub height of 119 metres. After commissioning in both municipalities the seven wind turbines will run with a total installed capacity of more than 21.5 megawatts. Commissioning of the two Siebenbäumen turbines is planned for August 2015 while the start of construction works is going to begin in March 2015 depending on the weather conditions. The wind farm will feed directly into the 110-kV grid via a transformer station. The further wind turbines are being acquired by the Kastorf KG owned by KGAL. Associated with the already running Kastorf wind farm the company will also insert Siebenbäumen to the institutional fund ESPF 3.KGAL has already acquired several wind farm projects in Germany and abroad from WKN AG. Roland Stanze, WKN Chief Operating Officer (COO) comments:

"It is a real good feeling again to furtheron extend our cooperation."
