Mainstream Renewable Power appoints Terry Ryan as Finance Director Wind and solar company Mainstream Renewable Power has appointed former SIAC CFO Terry Ryan as Finance Director of its global operations.

The company, which has wind and solar farms across four continents and was recently granted permission to build two multi-billion pound offshore wind farms in the UK , has appointed Ryan to oversee its Finance and Corporate Finance functions as it sets out to expand its operations further into Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Central America.

Terry brings more than 20 years’ experience of senior financial executive and management positions. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of the SIAC and Glen Dimplex Groups and prior to that he worked as a senior manager for Arthur Andersen in Dublin and London. In addition to leading the finance function of large groups operating across multiple jurisdictions, Terry has extensive experience of fund raising, project finance, public private partnerships, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Commenting on the appointment, Mainstream’s Chief Executive Eddie O’Connor said:

Terry holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
