Polish county launches tender for solar farm

Przasnysz County, Poland, has launched a tender process to develop photovoltaic solar farms through a public private partnership (PPP) project.

The project will be developed in three areas:

  • Sierakowo: the plot has a total area of 8 ha and the solar farm is expected to have a total capacity of 4 MW
  • Chorzele: the plot has a total area of 21 ha and the solar farm is expected to have a total capacity of 10 MW
  • Brzeski Ko?aki: the plot has a total area of 13.05 ha and the solar farm is expected to have a total capacity of 6 MW

The project will be developed on a design, build, finance operation and maintenance (DBFOM). The contract will be for a period of 20 years.

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 11 May 2015.

Przasnysz County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland. The only other town in the county is Chorzele, lying 26 km north of Przasnysz. The county covers an area of 1,217.82 km²
