According to local sources, Thai Solar Energy and local company Prospec Holdings Inc, will develop and install a 17 MW photovoltaic plant in Japan.
The solar park, which is due for completion in 2017, will be located in Hanamizuki. The project total investment is estimated at around US$56 million.
According to sources, Thai Solar Energy has previously worked with local partners Eco Solar Japan and Prospec on a 25 MW PV complex.
The company said in June that it plans to build 100 MW of “overseas” plants by the end of 2016, and 300 MW within three years of starting out. The first projects to be built should be completed “early next year”, Thai Solar Energy said.
